The Guadalupe Mountains National Park is one of the best spots for hiking lovers. If you want to take your family to a picnic then this could be a go-to choice for you which is located at Chihuahuan Desert, near the New Mexico border.

Over 220,000 yearly visitors visited last year in this location. This is one of the highest peaks in Texas. The park authorities suggested, that the best time to visit this beautiful 135 square mile park is in the Spring season when the desert is blooming. However, you can visit it in the summer but you have to fight the heat.
